Our ultimate goal was to create products with enhanced bioavailability and increased compatibility with skin but doing it sustainably. Only a tiny amount of algae is taken from nature to create our cellular extracts that perform and are absorb better by the skin, ultimately push the boundary of efficacy and sustainability.
Our skin treatments are natural, concentrated and targeted. Every ingredient used was carefully selected for its performance, science-backed evidence and sustainable source. All of our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind, too sooth and hydrate your skin but to also to respond to specific skin concerns.
We believe reducing waste in the cosmetic industry doesn’t only concern packaging but the ingredients themselves. Working with parts of plants that are usually unused provides a unique opportunity to harness the power of nature's ingredients that would otherwise go to waste. MARMI creates its products with upcycled ingredients because we believe waste is not an end but a source that can be translated to high-quality skincare.
STORY OF MARMI
Growing up with a chemist mum that used to take her to the lab as a child, Martina developed a curiosity around this field. Focusing since 2016 on organic skincare formulations, study of innovative and performant ingredients and sustainable sourcing of raw materials led her to create her first line of products in 2018 and ultimately integrating biotechnology and up-cycling into the newest formulas launched in 2024.
Martina’s passion for research and sustainability shaped her vision of beauty products and in 2025 MARMI was awarded with the European Natural Beauty Wards.
